The smirking arrogance of the LNP

By Kathryn

Not a single day goes by that we are not confronted with yet another LNP rort, another criminal act of fraudulent misappropriation of taxpayer funds, yet more and more revelations about LNP depravity, more lies, ceaseless broken promises, relentless chaos and inner-party political back fighting, treacherous instability and traitorous, power-hungry backstabbing!

Every day, never-ending news highlighting the LNP’s unspeakable bible-thumping hypocrisy, incidences of sniggering, smirking arrogance, barely disguised misogyny, the appalling defence and support of predatory paedophiles (like George Pell). Not a day goes by when we are not bombarded with endless examples of the LNP’s hopelessly inept mismanagement and waste of countless millions of hard-earned taxpayer funds that have been channelled into their own “pet” projects (thus enriching themselves) or used to further enrich and empower the LNP’s obscenely rich and powerful donors!

Never before in our history have we seen a government so steeped in corruption, so depraved, so condescending and so arrogant! Make no mistake about it, this is a morally bankrupt, born-to-rule pack of barbaric, callously inhumane fascists who have exhibited an absolutely appalling disregard for the laws and moral codes that bind the rest of us. The fact that this monstrous regime have the undisguised support of the, now, thoroughly discredited AFP and dubious judiciary, says so much about the inexorable decline our country is now undergoing in every imaginable way!

Our international reputation as a (once) respectable leading democracy has found its way into an open sewer ranking us almost on the same level as corrupt dictatorships like Zimbabwe or Uzbekistan. Morrison is now modelling himself on the self-deluded and openly corrupt Donald Trump – not surprising, considering that Morrison openly paraded himself as a cloying, salivating lapdog to Trump on SlowMo’s (internationally embarrassing) recent trip kowtowing to the worst president in America’s history!

Our police force are now militarised with semi-automatic assault rifles in order to enforce the acceleration of our deteriorating “democracy”;

  • Our economy is in tatters with a national deficit now nearing one trillion dollars.
Everything we once owned now sold to the highest foreign-owned bidder (including our precious water resources),
  • Our rivers polluted, our environment pillaged, raped and vandalised by foreign-owned predators for the sake of a transient profit that none of us will ever share in – a profit quickly exported and all of us betrayed because these predators are filling the coffers of the LNP with $millions in underhand parliamentary donations!
  • Every day supermarket prices are skyrocketing, Australian icons are shutting down or privatised;
  • Huge rates of unemployment or under-employment totally denied by the lying, conniving Marketing Monster and his self-deluded, smug and entitled cabinet of rorting, thieving political parasites!

In less than seven years, the LNP have created nothing, achieved nothing, given nothing. A pack of stone cold neo-liberal capitalists whose regime has benefited no one except, of course, themselves and their billionaire, non-taxpaying donors in the coal and iron-ore mining industries and the rapacious grubs in the Top 1%.

Under the fascist jackboot of the LNP, Australia has gone from hero to zero in a terrifying short time!

You said it all, and said it well Kathryn!

The Smirkie Sacked from Marketing Liarbral Nazianal$ misgovernment is building the worst third world export economy in the OECD for the benefit of foreign multinational corporations shareholders living overseas, as laid out in the Club of Rome Report 1969 where Australia is described as a big mining pit.

Thank you conservative politicians working to the detriment of Australian voters.

  4. Henry Johnston

We’ll see if the voters of Queensland choose the LNP at the upcoming state election. When all is said and done, we the people enable this clique by voting them into power. The electorate must take responsibility for its actions, or “We’ll all be rooned,” said Hanrahan. He sounded most forlorn”

    still agree
    welcome to the AIMN

Do you see a cause that will lead to nationwide civil disruption on the scale of Vietnam protests or are too many Aussies complacent, apathetic, indifferent, or just jobless and robodebted to care to force this corrupt mob to resign and a new election called? Will it take a full awake media finally going gang busters on the rorts, theft and openly brazen behaviour of Scummo and his incompetents, backed by a 1,000,000 strong mob shoutng F&^% Scomo outside parliament or at every public appearance? What will it take to send the LNP and fake independents to electoral oblivion?

  7. Margo K

Taking into account the lying, cheating and rorting that went on in the 2019Election, I honestly don’t think we did vote the LNP back in

    Well said Kathryn.

    Spindoctor, at al

There is a problem too big to ignore.

Most people, and I mean most of those people who are appalled at this government, are in debt up to their eyeballs, they are locked into working in any which way they can just to stay with their heads above water.

In short we are held by the short and curlies, there will not be any of the great public protests of those that ended discrimination, that end racism, that end the Vietnam war, that ended conscription.

Personnal debt in Australia has reached over 180% of personnal incomes, it is the most successful strategy for creating a compliant populous.

The only way that this is going to change is for a massed, targeted and continuous civil disorder program, however I cannot see that happening.

    Poor man my country

There is nothing in this article one can honestly disagree with and that is infuriating, but what is even more depressing is the fact that in my humble opinion the ALP are no better. How can anybody have faith in Albanese who won’t give any real idea of where they stand on virtually any subject, who like the disgraceful LNP are being hamstrung by a pack of hard right, coal loving zealots. They no longer seem to have any elected members who have actually earned a quid through hard yakka, just more apparatchiks and bloody lawyers. This two party paradigm is going to be the death of us as a free and democratic nation, we will be sold to the highest bidder whether we elect Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum. It’s enough to make an old “True Believer” cry.

    Birabongse re:

Nothing? Are you sure? What about this one?

a national deficit now nearing one trillion dollars.

It’s likely that two concepts are in play. One is debt and the other is deficit . While related, they are not interchangeable. And people usually give different meanings.

  12. Terence Mills

If I hear Josh tell us, with that look of fake sincerity, that he is committed to paying down Labor’s debt I will burst a blood vessel.

When will this mob come clean and acknowledge that the increase in debt by 250% happened on their watch and it is for them to get their house in order.

  13. Robin Alexander

Totally agree with Margo K we truly didn’t vote the LNP into power they achieved it by cheating & rorting! Haven’t stopped since sitting in Parliament as our “leaders” false promises! Economy dying but hidden more more businesses closing purely because loss spending power of public!GOVERNMENT has no care for average working man or others! The ones with wealth only ones cared for! Vulnerable care is appalling! As they entend to inflict even more pain! Appears they enjoy inflicting misery? Aged care & home care services are in bad state money withdrawn from one home care service completely end Dec. Leaving many elderly with no assistance! aged care home packages if granted can take up to 18months to be obtained? So much for PM saying “we want to keep people in their homes we are here to help you do that” load of BS! system getting worse! Never imagined when being widow 82yrs I would have to battle hours on telephone trying to achieve assistance of sorts! But none available! ,it is true mine field to travel aged care? Disgrace actually! Worked hard paid taxes! Now battleing assistance & real threat LNP intend imposing INDUE CARDS ON A PENSIONERS Aged & Vets 2020! ,80/90yr olds majority who will never comprehend the vast evil change to finance! controlled where how much no direct debits or Credit card payments for utillity bills? totally dependent on “ringing Indue to forward payments” mostly they repeatedly fail resulting people being made homeless other great unsolverble problems!wonderwhy so many increasingly Living on streets?what has Australia become under Lnp complete no Empathy for unfortunate of population ?

This government is bad. I know it is bad. I can’t begin to imagine how much worse it can get. But …

The next time I see someone call for a petition demanding that the Governor General do something or sack the government I’ll stretch my arms through the internet and shake some sense into them.

Nothing succeeds like success, does it.
Convincing the people to make ‘waged slaves’ of themselves is serving the money manipulators perfectly.
Brainwashing folk into believing that their lust for ‘stuff’ with which to express their worth is beneficial to them and will make them happy has been carefully planned and executed by those who profit from human frailty.
Whereas, of course, being debt free with bit ‘put aside for a rainy day’ gives one a lot of freedom from the need to bow in obeisance to your taskmasters.
But, there is social stigma attatched to it; as John Holt, the educator, writing on home based education said of those who opposed the concept: “People in chains object to those who are not. Their attitude is “Who are you to be going around unchained like that – Get back into your chains like the rest of us”.”
Non-conformity has historically been an anathema to the majority of people.
    Tribalism rools. OK!!

“People in chains object to those who are not. Their attitude is “Who are you to be going around unchained like that – Get back into your chains like the rest of us”.

Absolutely disagree with this statement, it smacks of the have narrative that the have not are jealous of the have.

    No not in my experience.
The have nots are not jealous of the haves – they are livid of those obscene haves who just will not stop getting more and more even from the poorest. Exploiting the infrastructure services and influancing tax laws to benefit themselves, whilst demonizing those less fortunate.

  17. DrakeN

Stephengb, just how you managed to spin haves versus have-nots out of that escapes me.

It was meant to emphasise that those who do not conform to the accepted behaviours of their peers, of every stratum in society, are stigmatised and ridiculed for being ‘different’.
Herd instinct/pack conformity is deeply rooted in the human psyche.
The “black sheep” still gets the rough end of the pineapple.

  18. corvusboreus

    Thanks boobby.

  19. Kathryn

Matters Not, instead of endlessly criticising everyone else’s post, perhaps you should do a bit of research on your own, eh? The total debt is now up to $1.4 TRILLION …. wake up!

  20. Egalitarian

    Kathryn:

The One Trillion debt and more is their final solution policy to rid us of providing Welfare. In the future everyone will have to work in the Coal Mines even your Grandmother. We are heading back to “It was the best of times and the worst of times”.

  21. Henry Rodrigues

Henry Johnston…….. From one Henry to another, you mirror my thoughts precisely, its those voters in QLD who have enabled this bunch of crooks to get re-elected. They seem to be bereft of any remorse, common sense or political morality, aided and abetted by the scummy Murdoch press.

Aah QLD, the land of Pauline Hanson, Malcolm Roberts, Matt Canavan, Clive Palmer, Peter Dutton, red necks and other assorted mental scruffs.
