Class Warfare – A Short Blog!

Ok, watch this two minute video about monkeys (actual monkeys no connection to the photo of Dutton and Abbott):

Yep, class warfare.

Now what’s the difference between this and the class warfare that Labor is trying to run?

Well, quite simply the difference is that the Liberals are making the decisions as to who gets the grapes and then they’re telling us that some people are getting too much cucumber…

So that’s my shorthand from hereonin…

Not enough grapes.
Too much cucumber.

Let them try and spin that into class f*cking warfare!!

Please tell me that the 1st monkey finally got some grapes…

  2. Rossleigh

Gee, diannaart, that’s exactly the sort of left wing thinking that stops the other monkey earning so many grapes that some of them trickle across to the 1st monkey!

  3. diannaart

    I guess I don’t get a grape, either?

  4. philgorman2014

    They’re probably sour anyway.

  5. Kaye Lee

I have always loved that video. It was the highlight of studying psychology. We don’t want no stinkin’ cucumber!!

  6. brickbob

I love that video it is absolutley brilliant,it tells us so much about a lot of things.””””

  7. Max Gross

“Not enough grapes. Too much cucumber” Nah, too many monkeys.

  8. Rossleigh

    @Max Gross.

Not such a problem if it weren’t for the fact that it’s the monkeys getting the grapes while the rest of us are told we’re getting too much cucumber!

  9. kerri

OMG Rossleigh? We were sharing that around the family this week just for interest but it is SUCH a good analogy! Thanks for lifting my spirits! Again!

Kaye Lee, it was one of the highlights of my Psych degree as well 🙂 I love the monkey banging the desk… Hehe. He ain’t no fool.

The address of the whole thing is:

and if you just want the video directly:

However I’m half deaf so require the subtitles:

Hey Rossleigh – that made my day …

Inequality could not be more adequately presented.

p.s. Monkeys know more about protest, than we do ? …. maybe that’s a fact ‘n all.

  13. Tim

How many grapes do I need to accumulate before I can buy my 9 month old an investment property?

  14. Miriam English

Sorry Tim, no more grapes left. They’re all in offshore accounts. You’ll have to be satisfied with half a slice of cucumber. (The other half a slice goes to the government so the grape monkeys can avoid tax.)

  15. Shaun Newman

For one of the richest countries in the world, we treat our workers like monkeys, this inequitable system is failing world wide. Australia needs a change that neither side are offering, we need a revolution to a fairer system, bugger the profit based system where those with nothing to trade except their labour are always the last to be treated fairly by tis system.

YES, lets make these two three-word slogans–“Not enough grapes”–“Too much cucumber” the “new” liberal slogans! After all, they make more sense than this stupid “jobs & growth” crap they are all sprouting now! And, to think they “stole” it from one of the stupid bloody Bush campaigns, just shows how “clever” they think they are, NOT!!
