Jonathan Haidt – this really raises some great discussion points! Worth watching if you have twenty minutes!

 

Ok, parts of this have a US context.

And I do have concerns with the fact that he overlooks the Iraq Wars.
However, it’s certainly worth watching and thinking about.

The interesting question for me is the extent to which we can find common agreement with the “other side”, when they tell us that just being on the other side disqualifies us from having an opinion.

Can we claim the “high moral ground” if we do the same?

(Notwithstanding the people who complain about which photo of Mr Monckton we use. 🙂 )
