Bring our boys back, Scott Morrison
Help Save two orphaned 16 year old boys from deportation.
On 26/06 Dept of Immigration were waiting at the home of the boys who had been studying at Woodville High School. When the boys arrived home from school they were taken, without being told what was happening to them & then flown out to Darwin at 3am with 4 Serco guards each, where they are now being detained at Wickham Point. The students at Woodville High School have started this petition, please Sign, Share and help bring our boys home!
Everyone has the right to a safe, healthy, happy life. On the 26th of June, 2014, Department of Immigration employees were waiting at the residence of two 16 year old Vietnamese asylum seekers who had been studying at Woodville High School. When the boys arrived home from school they were taken, without being told what was happening to them, and were sent to Inverbrackie Detention Centre in the Adelaide Hills. Soon afterwards, they were then flown out to Darwin, where they are now being detained at Wickham Point.
A wave of fear spread through the multicultural community, and by week’s end 11 students had fled from their homes in fear of being taken by the Department of Immigration. A teacher from Woodville High School has already started a petition to bring our boys home, so we suggest all who sign this petiton also sign that one to let Scott Morrison know just how diverse the support for this cause is. This petition is to spread awareness about what is happening to people who have come to seek refuge in Australia. We want our boys brought back home and we want the guaranteed safety and fair treatment of unaccompanied minors seeking our help. The government cannot act in such an inhumane way. No justice, no peace – these injustices are not committed in our name.

It is important that if you do speak with any media, that this is highlighted. The last thing we want is for these boys, who have already been through enough, thinking that something has happened to their families.”

as a country and a proud member of the UN we should aim to help all who are desperate and in real fear of going back to their homelands.If these boys are not orphans then their families must surely be found and then contacted as to thelocation of their boys –We certainly owe these boys that! It would be a great thing to reunite them with their families. we need to show more compassion

Apparently the ABC was going to do a story on this but the carers felt unable to speak out for fear of losing their jobs.
Yes it was to have aired last night, but —-.
I have also heard that the DIBP reclassified their ages to 18 so they could put them in detention. They could do this because they have no papers. They have done this to all the children in the programme. Little wonder they are hiding.
The Nazis would have been proud of him.

Asylum home holds no clues to runaways
POLICE continued their search yesterday for 15 runaway asylum-seekers, including five children, visiting a community detention site in Adelaide to find no-one home.
The Australian yesterday called at the home, in Adelaide’s inner northern suburbs, where unaccompanied minors and young adult asylum-seekers live with carers from non-for-profit organisation Life Without Barriers.

No wonder they are running from men in uniforms.
The efforts of their school mates – their dedication and compassion, their determination to support their friends and their willingness to be advised and follow protocols which ensure they do not harm their cause by their actions is amazing. They deserve our commendation.
The group who are fighting for the boys have started a thread
“Starting tomorrow we are going to be doing one ‘why we care’ post a day. We will select the best response to this question and post on the Facebook group, as well as our twitter account. So please tell us why you care.”
From the principal of the school the boys were attending….
“As an educator who knew the two 16 year old young students, I could see them flourishing in our school due to the friendship of fellow students and the care of our teachers. I care that they were taken from us and we were not given a chance to say goodbye. I care because we want them back with the Woodville High School Community.”

Why do I care
I care because I have seen the look of love in the eyes of my own children.
I care because I have felt the warmth of their hugs.
I care because I have heard the laughter of my children’s friends as they play together.
I care because my children are safe and warm and because they have enough to eat.
I care because I have seen the look of trust in the eyes of children I have taught.
I care because children have no voice other than ours to protect them.
I care because, if we do not treasure every child, we destroy not only our future, but also our souls..

Australia is not respecting the Rights of the Child (above) in it’s treatment of these boys, their friends in community detention, the 30 plus children on the “disappeared” boat and the 983 children in detention in Australian run facilities here, on Christmas Island and Nauru (208). It is shameful!
