Why are so many women and children being killed in Gaza and Lebanon?

The statistics are horrific.

On October 7 last year, 1200 Israelis were killed and over 200 hostages were taken in an attack on a music festival near the Gaza/Israel border. Included among the fatalities were a number killed by ‘friendly fire’ when the IDF were deployed to take care of the situation.

Of the fatalities recorded to date of deaths in Gaza, more than 40,000 – over 60% – are women and children. Women and children tend not to be soldiers fighting in the war zone, but rather ‘collateral damage’, unfortunate people who just happened to be in the way as the bombs went off. Reports tend not to tell of Hamas fighters being killed.

In Lebanon, including the targeted attack using pagers and walkie talkies and the targeted blowing up of buildings where Hezbollah leaders meet has killed 569 people including 50 children and wounded 1,835 people, according to the Lebanese health ministry. Oh, and yes, a senior Hezbollah commander was among those killed.

Why are there no clearer indications given of actual fighters being killed or are all males over a certain age considered to be enemies or potential enemies?

Available on ABC iview there is a documentary film, Prosecuting Evil, about a Jewish lawyer, Ben Ferencz, who as a 27 year old graduate in 1945 was the prosecutor in the Nuremberg War Crimes trials. In his opening statement to the court he said:

“Vengeance is not honourable.

Nor do we seek merely a just retribution.

We ask this court to affirm by international penal action man’s right to live in peace and dignity regardless of his race or creed.”

As the trial off 22 Nazi officers proceeded, each pleaded their innocence, but were convicted on their documentation of the deaths they were held to account for, but there was one defendant who stood out for the prosecutor. He was Otto Ohlendorf, a doctor, a general, a father of five children and a devoted husband. In presenting his rationale for the killings he signed off on, apart from the plea of ‘following orders’, couched in his subservience to Hitler who had said that Russia was going to take over Germany and the Jews would take over too or words something like that, but claimed his sense of humanity, his attempt to make the murders less traumatic, that he did not ‘smash babies heads against trees’ instead order that when a mother was holding a baby, to shoot the baby and so doing kill both mother and child. That was far less traumatising and far more efficient. I somehow come to the conclusion that the trauma alluded to was not that of the victims. His plea of self defence was based on the perceived threat from Russia and the survival of the Jewish people and how that endangered his and Germany’s existence.

After the Colonel-Doctor was convicted and sentenced to hang, the young lawyer visited him to ask, person to person, looking for some measure of remorse, some acknowledgement that the had in fact committed a war crime, a crime against humanity.

Perhaps an apology to his family for his crimes.

“Can I do something for you?”

“You will see that I was right. The Russians will take over, The Jews will survive.”

I relate that because after the war, the Nuremberg Trials exposed the criminality of the Nazi regime who conducted, in fact industrialised the mass murder of people based on ethnicity, both Jews and Gypsies, and on sexuality by killing homosexuals, and those who were deemed to suffer from mental disorders, or anyone else who did not conform to the Nazi definition of who was allowed to live.

More than the Nuremberg Trials, the newly formed United Nations passed a resolution to partition the middle eastern British protectorate of Palestine to be a two nation state for Jewish refugees, survivors of the Holocaust to settle alongside the existing Palestinian population.

And still more was done: the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights was written and endorsed by all member states, including the newly formed nation of Israel. The declaration re-affirmed the ideals of freedom of religion, that there cannot be discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, sexuality, that there is freedom of thought and speech, for refugees the right of return and so many other rights we have as human beings.

But it didn’t stop there, the International Court of Justice was formed to allow for leaders who perpetrated crimes against humanity could be held to account.

These were actions taken to try to in some way redress the horrors of the Holocaust and acknowledging the attitudes which led up to the marginalisation and genocide which had occurred, trying to ensure that such events would never occur again.

Peace has never been easy to find. And despite the best efforts of the International community it seems peace in the middle east is particularly elusive. What does not help is the rhetoric both from the Israeli leaders and military spokes people, and from the Palestinian side along with their regional supporters. While international support for Israel was strong immediately after the October 7 attack, the devastation of their retaliation which smacks more of vengeance and retribution that to seriously search out the Hamas leadership and seriously negotiate the release of hostages, some of whom have also been accidentally killed by Israeli soldiers.

With the death toll now approaching forty, Palestinian lives for each Israeli life lost and the seemingly complete destruction of anywhere to live within the Gaza strip, that support is fading fast, and now to make the claims that their intelligence is so good they can find the leadership of Hezbollah whereever they are, the bombing of residential buildings and subsequent loss of civilian lives, including women and children again appear to be more vengeance than an execution or assassination of a known target.

To date, there has been no reported deaths by Hezbollah attacks into Israel, but the death toll in Lebanon as a result of those attacks is climbing fast. If Israel invades, as seems to be their threat, it will be the sixth time since 1978.

It seems the Israeli leadership, the Zionists and Prime Minister Netanyahu will not be satisfied until the Biblical promise of the land belonging to the descendants of Abraham is realised, and the land cleansed of those who are not identified as such… and the identification is one of belief, a religious creed, that of Judaism. In effect, using the same argument the Nazis had for eliminating people who did not conform to their definition of what a good German looked like.

But why are there so many women and children killed in these conflicts?

Could it be that each child killed cannot grow up to become the enemy?

And could it be that by killing women and children cannot be born to grow up to become the enemy?

hy are so many women and children being murdered by the IDF in Gaza and the West Bank – to reduce the creation of future generations of Palestinians – its that simple!!!

  2. Kerri

Could it be because they can?
No one is actually, positively, physically making any effort to stop the Israeli actions of revenge.
Like Trump and so many would be Trumps, the boundaries of behaviour are pushed and pushed further when there is no resistance. Like a parent who thinks a warning alone will change the childs behaviour the world chides the rogue.
The Gaza “war” is an act of revenge. Israel has a right to defend itself but only…
1/ on its own land not the land it occupies.
2/ when it is actually engaged in defense of an attack not several days later because it was sleeping during that actual attack.
The whole middle east conflict stinks so heavily of domestic political 🫏 covering by Netanyahu that you can smell it from here.
The bottom line is, after securing Bibis perpetual leadership and freedom from imprisonment, the total obliteration of anyone who is not a true born Jew in the land that Israels god told them belongs to them is the ultimate goal. You need to believe in that religion and that religious proclamation to believe that Palestine is actually Israel.
The irony is the exclusivity with which Israel holds its people is counterintuitive to its need for all races to believe in that biblical proclamation.

Good question Bert, “why so many women and children?” Because Zionists are intent on genocide? It can’t qualify as genocide if only men are being targeted. To me it looks a genocide-land grab because history repeats.

40,000 Gazans killed and probably 10 times that number seriously injured. Enough? Nope.

Recently Israel pretended to care for Palestinians by having a cease-fire so as to address a polio outbreak. About 560k children were given novel oral polio vaccine (nOPV2) under this latest PHEIC*. How kind of Zionists to co-ordinate with the WHO?

Except, if you happened to have read this study – ‘Enabling accelerated vaccine roll-out for Public Health Emergencies of International Concern (PHEICs): Novel Oral Polio Vaccine type 2 (nOPV2) experience’
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10109087/
“Whilst the wild-type poliovirus type 2 (WPV2) has been eradicated, the surge of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) outbreaks is considered to be a major a challenge for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI).”

In other words, wild poliovirus no longer exists, all cases now are “vaccine-derived” from Sabin oral poliovirus vaccine (OPV).

Now the mothers of Gaza are expected to trust that the latest “Novel Oral Polio Vaccine type 2 (nOPV2)” is safe and effective, and that Zionists have their best interests at heart before they start bombing the sh*te out of their children and country again.
If the mothers of Gaza knew this info, as does the WHO, the people administering the novel oral polio product (nOPV2) wouldn’t get within 5 metres of any child.

That NCBI paper relating to “Novel Oral Polio Vaccine type 2 (nOPV2)” is a precautionary story. If you have young children or grand-children it might save you some grief down the track if you can read the paper and comprehend the science.

PHEIC* – pronounced as ‘fake’, just to mock people

Not specific to only the Netanyahu – Hamas and Hezbollah conflicts, but much broader cultural issue that also exists elsewhere inc Sudan, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Myanmar etc. and shared with the developed world, especially far right and white Christian nationalists.

Lack of empathy by regimes and supporters on killing of women and children, like elsewhere can be subjected to domestic violence, manipulation, control etc.

  5. Bert

Yes, Andrew, I agree that all those conflicts around the world see civilian deaths including women and children, but the conflict in the middle east is a continuation of the holocaust and its aftermath.

While the victim badge continues to be worn there can be no sense of a peace settlement, I guess in a sense it is a bit like forgiveness, if a person cannot forgive, they wear the pain of the unforgiven slight and it marks the way they live. In this case, the wearing of the victim badge is a reminder of what has been done, a reminder faced daily and through that seeing the threat of that recurring, and so the response is one of vengeance.

Much self-congratulation in the ranks of the IDF as they celebrate the elimination of yet another Hezbollah leader after raining down at least six US supplied 2000 lb bombs on an apartment complex in Beirut.

Secretary general of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in the Israeli airstrike on Friday, ending his 32-year tenure as the group’s leader. In a statement the leadership of Hezbollah pledges … to continue its jihad in confronting the enemy [Israel], supporting Gaza and Palestine, and defending Lebanon and its steadfast and honourable people.

Somehow Netanyahu was granted a platform at the United Nations General Assembly and when there were protests he denounced the “UN as a ‘swamp of antisemitic bile”.

It now seems that incursions into the homelands of other sovereign states for the purposes of assassinating opposition leaders is a legitimate tactical response. The question is, will Netanyahu be next and how does this ever end ?

The following essay is by Avigail Abarbanel and is lifted from her Avigail Abarbanel’s Fully Human Essays, which are findable within Substack. She describes herself as a “Psychotherapist & political activist with a fine-tuned bullshit detector… [and] a psychotherapist in independent practice since 1999. I am also a former Israeli citizen, anti-Zionist and activist for Palestinian human rights.” She formerly lived and worked here in Australia and now resides in Scotland.

The essay is posted in full, a lengthy read that penetrates to the core of the pathological mindset that characterises Jewish outlook and how that influences Jewish behaviour in Israel and other countries. Self-evidently, not everyone can view the world and in particular people and their behaviour through the lens of an experienced psychotherapist’s perspective, and I’d argue, more the pity for that and a shame that more effort isn’t spent on educating people to adopt some of these rational perspectives and outlooks on the mental processes that govern our attitudes and behaviour.

    Essay begins…

Israel — The Legacy of a Perpetrator Society

[photo not embedded… can be viewed in Substack]

This photo is from one of my ex sisters-in-law Facebook page. It is a family portrait of my two sisters-in-law, (far right and far left in the photo), the husband of the one on the left (the other one’s passed away years ago), and all their children. They all wear specially made T-shirts in the style of prisoners’ uniform, and they pose against the wall of an escape room. This is intended as a statement about the Israelis Hamas kidnapped October last year. There is victimhood mixed with ‘heroic’ fantasies. Three of the girls (not the adults) brandish pistols, which I can only hope are toys, but you never know in Israel. Children are taught to use weapons from a young age to acclimatise them to, and normalise Israel’s militarism. I have masked their faces, because it is not important for people to see who they are, although the photo is on Facebook for everyone to see. Both my ex sisters in-law are highly educated professionals. The one on the left is a primary school principal. Everyone is the photo is smiling. I am guessing they are genuinely satisfied with their ‘creative’ idea to stage this photo, in order to flaunt their unified family support for their country, older and younger generations alike. These people do not represent a fanatic fringe. They are mainstream Israel. Children do not stand a chance in that society. All children want, and need to be accepted by the adults around them, which makes them an easy target for indoctrination.

This is not a scholarly essay. This is my personal testimony as someone who was born into, and grew up in a perpetrator society that does not recognise itself as such. It is self-evident that perpetrator societies do not see themselves for what they are, nor do they recognise their crimes for what they are. If they did, they would either stop themselves before they started, or somewhere along the way. If there is ever any reckoning, or soul-searching in perpetrator societies it usually comes far too late for their victims. I am not holding my breath about Israel.

When I was in primary school I was deeply bothered by the persistent message that ‘everyone hated us’, and ‘no one wanted Israel/us to live in peace’. I could not understand why. Why me? I was only a child, and I did not do anything to anyone. I had to accept that the world hated me because I was an Israeli.

There is no distinction between ‘me’, and ‘us’ in Israel. The collective and the individual are one and the same. Your identity is given to you by society from the moment you are born. In the Israeli cult, as in all cults, the group comes before the individual. Belonging to the group not only depends on conformity to the group’s philosophy of life and perception of reality, but it is also the highest value in a person’s life. Without complete loyalty to Israel, individuals are worthless. Or as a Zionist Rabbi once told me, I was a ‘useless human being devoid of any values’.

Israel tells its people that only when Jews are finally safe, they can ‘indulge’ in universal values, sing Kymbaya, and ‘love their neighbour’, if they so wish. Like all perpetrator societies, Israeli Jews believe that they will only have peace when their designated ‘enemy’, the Palestinian people, are all gone. Only then will they have their coveted safety and peace.

Israel began its settler colonial project in the late 1800s. It has now ethnically cleansed the Palestinians from almost all of Palestine, but has not yet managed to eliminate all of them. Israelis see the Palestinians as nothing more than a dangerous irritation, a nuisance. Like a home with an infestation of a dangerous life-form that bother the inhabitants. Only after they eradicate the entire infestation, could the inhabitants relax, and feel safe in their home. I am using this chilling analogy, because it is an accurate description of Israel’s attitude to the Palestinian people. Like all colonialist, and settler-colonialist perpetrator societies Israel does not view the indigenous people human beings. This began with the early Zionists, and Israel has indoctrinated its entire citizenship to think the same way. You cannot commit a genocide if your population feels empathy to those targeted for elimination. Words like ‘dehumanisation’ and ‘demonisation’ do not even begin to do justice to what the Palestinians have been suffering at the hands of Israel.

The Israeli cult thinks that it will have peace when it gets rid of all the Palestinians, but in cults there can never be a sense of safety or peace. A perpetual foreboding, a feeling of imminent danger, threat, urgency and emergency are the lifeblood of cults. They do not know how else to live. It is unsustainable, which is why so many cults end in group suicide. Israeli society is imploding, because humans cannot live like this forever. But there is no telling how long this can take, and how much harm Israel will continue to cause along the way.

The Israeli media constantly hypes up and stirs the public’s fear, and sense of doom. I lived through the same in my twenty-seven years there. When I realised it would never change, I left. Nothing in Israel has changed since its beginnings, and certainly since I was born. The only thing that is different is that with the ongoing support Israel enjoys, it is now more brazen, and openly genocidal and outrageous than it has ever been.

When, as a child and a teenager, I tried to find out why ‘everyone’ hated ‘us’, the only answer was ‘because we are Jews’. I still have a pile of old letters from a boyfriend I had when I was in my last year in high school. He was already in the military, and subjected to massive indoctrination in his officers’ training. He sent me many letters filled with ruminations, and inner torment, always asking the same questions, “Why do they all hate us so much? What did we do? Why do they make our lives so miserable, and so difficult? Why don’t they leave us alone?”

As for why everyone (allegedly) hated us, the answer we were given is that they, the non-Jewish rest of the world could not help it. Hatred of Jews, antisemitism as we were taught to call it, was an ancient, almost supernatural, demon-like, thing that plagued everyone who was not Jewish. It was passed into newborn babies with their ‘mothers’ milk’, we were told already in primary school, and at home too. ‘Passed on with mothers’ milk’ is a lay-person’s way of saying that it is genetic. Inevitable. Innate. Immutable. Everyone is powerless over it, Jews and non-Jews alike. Antisemitism is bigger than all of us. We were taught that this supernatural force, antisemitism, may occasionally lie dormant for a while, or in some places. In such times, or places Jews may enjoy some peace and security, but this is only temporary. The hatred that never really goes away will inevitably rise again, and when it does, I, and everyone else I know, would once again face the threat of annihilation. The obvious conclusion is that you cannot trust anyone, and that you have to huddle together in a fortified, and fully armed ghetto for your protection. That ghetto is Israel. Nowhere else is safe. (I really believed this, and when I first moved to Australia I was genuinely afraid).

Israel is obsessed with genetics. Its entire concept of Jewishness, nationhood, and belonging is based on the profoundly false idea that Jews are a ‘race’, and that Jewish ‘blood’ is somehow different from that of the rest of humanity. Because Jewishness is supposedly ‘in the blood’ you can never escape it. Once a Jew, always a Jew. You do not even have to believe in God, or practice Jewish religion. As far as Israel is concerned you can even be a Buddhist, and still be a Jew.
Even more importantly, Israeli society is driven by the unscientific, and eye-wateringly false belief that ‘race’, blood, determines a person’s character. For a society that prides itself on its technological and scientific progress and ingenuity, this is profoundly primitive. Where are all the Israeli academics and scholars who could so easily challenge this? They are nowhere to be found, because their loyalty to the cult is stronger than their scientific integrity. They just stay away from the topic. Underneath Israel’s veneer of progress, lies a deeply primitive psychology.

To prevent doubts, our indoctrination, our education was saturated with examples that proved that our philosophy of life was correct. The stories of the Bible presented as history told about perpetual Jewish victimhood. Most Jewish festivals are almost always focused on some threat of annihilation and a miraculous deliverance by God. There is a long history of Jewish persecution to feed this belief system, and we were heavily immersed in studying every detail of the holocaust taught from a Zionist perspective. It is a fact that Jews were persecuted horribly, but so have many other people across the world, and throughout human history. Israel teaches its people that Jews are the only victims, and the greatest victims in human history, and that Jewish victimhood is not in the past. It is right now. Israeli Jews always see themselves as victims.

Israeli society wallows in its own perceived victimhood, vulgar emotionality, self-pity, and smug self-satisfaction at their belief that they are smarter than everyone else, and more progressive. If you could only listen in to conversations among Israeli tourists when they visit other countries. It does not matter what Israel does to others, only Israel’s own suffering matters to its people, because it is the only suffering that exists. Readers who know Hebrew are welcome to explore the social media pages of Israeli Jews, or the websites of their media. You will need a strong stomach.

Yesterday, I decided to visit the Facebook pages of my former sisters-in-law from my first marriage. (I was twenty-three when I married my first husband in Israel in 1987). We are not Facebook ‘friends’, of course. But there is enough that is available publicly on their pages. I do not often look, but from time to time I search for little signs of self-awareness, maybe a hint of awakening from the stupor of the cult. But it is not there. I thought that perhaps since Israel has gone completely psychotic, maybe those staunch, brainwashed patriots might start asking questions. But no such luck. The more Israel escalates, the more heinous its behaviour, the more crimes against humanity it commits, the more fanatical its people become in their support of their cult state.

The Facebook cover photo of older sister (far right in the photo) is a banner fashioned in the colours of the Israeli flag. It reads “I don’t have another land/country” (Ein li eretz acheret / אין לי ארץ אחרת). This phrase is taken from a famous 1986 Israeli song. The lyrics are by the ultra Zionist, and much loved and revered poet, the late, Ehud Manor. The tune, by a talented female composer, Corin Al-al. The song is still played on Israeli radios today. Here is my translation of the refrain (it all rhymes well in Hebrew):

    I don’t have another country

Even if my land is burning

Only a word in Hebrew penetrates

    My veins, my soul

With an aching body, with a hungry heart,

    Here, is my home.

    אין לי ארץ אחרת
    גם אם אדמתי בוערת
    רק מילה בעברית חודרת
    אל עורקיי, אל נשמתי
    בגוף כואב, בלב רעב
    כאן הוא ביתי

I cannot imagine what any Palestinian would feel just reading this. It is obscene. This song is only one in an endless list of sickeningly nationalistic, saccharine, stomach-churning, melodramatic popular Israeli songs, used in Israel’s extensive informal propaganda and indoctrination.

(I thought of sharing my ex sister-in-law’s Facebook cover photo here, but I cannot bring myself to post such a photo on my page, even if it is just for illustration. It feels too dirty).

Israeli Hebrew literature and poetry, supposedly a higher form of art than popular music, are filled with examples of the same self-absorbed, self-righteous mindset. Even the 2000 short story collection, Apples from the Desert by the Israeli female writer Savyon Liebrecht is filled with the quintessential Israeli self-absorption. I say ‘even’, because compared with many other writers, Liebrecht’s stories at least flirt, albeit cautiously, with some sense of compassion for the Palestinians.

When I came across Liebrecht’s book, not long after it was published, it offered me some comfort, and validation. I was just taking my first baby steps at questioning my indoctrination, and I was looking for allies within Israel. I guess I needed someone there to tell me I was ‘not a bad person’. I still needed ‘permission’ from the cult to think my new thoughts. I did not yet grasp properly at the time how much my personal psychology was colonised and dominated by Israel’s cult groupthink. I was still trying to comprehend why I felt so tormented, and so guilty when I started to feel real empathy for the Palestinian people.

I require neither comfort, nor validation from Israel or Israelis. It has been many years since I psychologically disengaged from the cult. I feel at peace with my values and principles. I also know it is nothing special. I am just a human being who should feel empathy for any human being who is subjected to injustice, abuse, and murder. It does not matter who the perpetrator, or the victim are. It is everyone’s duty to speak out for those who are abused at the hands of other human beings, and call out the perpetrators.

The book that I once admired, I now see as another example of Israeli smugness, and faux self-reflection. Liebrecht is just another Israeli Jewish writer who omits the most important fact about Israel’s existence, the rot at the very core of Israel’s being. Israeli academics, scholars, writers, thinkers, and commentators always attempt to analyse Israeli society’s problems without ever addressing Israel’s genocidal, settler-colonial identity and purpose. This is the most forbidden taboo in the Israeli cult. But at the heart of all the social problems that plague perpetrator societies is the fact that they are perpetrators.

Psychologically well people do not harm others. To perpetrate you already have to be unwell. Once you perpetrate, you spiral ever deeper into a slippery moral abyss, from which there is no escape. You cannot murder, or commit genocide and expect to be well, and feel good about yourself. To stop the downward spiral, you first have to stop perpetrating. You then have to start looking in a real mirror, own up, seek redemption through making amends, and become the kind of human, or society that can do no harm.

The vast majority of Israeli society supports its government, and especially its military. If some people there do not like Netanyahu, it is not because he is bad to the Palestinians, but because he is not bad enough. The chances that they would ever reflect or change from within are poor.

Below is an English translation of my ex sister in-law’s (far right in the photo) description of a project she has initiated. She names herself and her sister (the school principal in the far left of the photo) as the people to contact to get candles, or labels. My ex sisters-in-law are both educated professionals, and they are an example of mainstream Jewish-Israel. (I have no interest in exposing their names or phone numbers, although they are in the post, which is in the public domain).

For 9 years every day Zichron, the “Candle for the Soul” program has been operating to commemorate the IDF victims and the murderers of the terror actions.

This year the program will also work on the anniversary of the massacre of 7/10/2023.

As part of the program labels and/or soul candles will be distributed including labels with the names of the murdered and a barcode scribbled that leads to their life story.

Schools, organizations, companies and others that want to participate in the memorial program please contact … or …

I would appreciate it if you would share.

This and things like this is what Israeli people do while their country murders tens of thousands of human beings in Gaza. Countless tortured, bodies mutilated, tens of thousands children dead. Millions traumatised. Those who are still alive in Gaza have been bombed into homelessness, destitution, hunger, disease and psychological, and emotional suffering beyond my comprehension. Israel has destroyed their lives, and has taken everything from them. Israel is toying with the survivors, bombing their tents, and make-shift shelters, prevents them from having clean water, medical care, sanitation, and shoves them from one corner of Gaza to another where they keep bombing them. The Colonised West Bank is on the way to becoming another Gaza. Israel is bombing Lebanon indiscriminately, destroying the lives of Lebanese citizens, damaging properties and traumatising everyone. My sister-in-law and the majority of Israeli society do not care about anyone but themselves. They wallow in their own losses while committing unspeakable crimes against humanity. The people Israel is losing did not have to die and they died for nothing. If Israel did not perpetrate settler-colonialism and genocide, they would still all be alive. But Israel is a country that likes to pretend that it does not have a choice, that everythng is imposed on them by others, and they are just ‘defending’ themselves.

Israel is by no means finished. Israel is behaving belligerently and criminally and outrageously, because it is trying to provoke a big war. It is desperate for one and it is growing impatient. Israel wants a big war because making millions of people disappear is not so easy when the whole world is watching. A big war will provide the necessary smokescreen, behind which Israel can complete the elimination of the Palestinian people once and for all. Even Hitler waited until he had a big war, before he carried out his program to exterminate Jews, Catholics, gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and others who did not fit the crackpot race theory he believed in.

Israel’s only goal is the completion of the Zionist settler-colonial project. It will not stop until every last Palestinian is removed from historic Palestine by any means possible, and is replaced with what Israel calls Jews. Israel does not care who, or how many die in the course of its insane determination to complete its settler-colonial ambition, American and British soldiers, UN observers, and peacekeepers, journalists, medics, civilians everywhere, including its own.

I cannot stomach the way the rest of the world continues to indulge a perpetrator society like Israel. Instead of stopping this psychopathic, psychotic, homicidal, state that is on a premeditated murder spree. Those who could stop Israel, support it and arm it.

To ask Israeli Jews to recognise their terrible sin, and crime of settler-colonialism is asking the impossible. Any mirror Jewish Israeli society looks into shows it what it wants to see. It shows them a sensitive, innocent, gentle, refined, deep, caring, peace-loving people who are innocent victims of an unfair and irrational hatred. Israel’s perception of its own innocence, and its own victimhood is hard to put up with, when the devastation Israel unleashes on the Palestinians and the Lebanese people lies bare for everyone to see. Israel cannot be reasoned with. It must be stopped. None of our so-called leaders will be able to say they did not know. They must not be allowed to. We are telling them. I am telling them.
