How many times have we questioned the mental status of POTUS Trump?
It was as far back as November 2016 that we began to do so with Let’s welcome President Trump. Even then, Michael Moore expressed his doubts about Trump’s surprise election and predicted, albeit incorrectly:
This is why we’re not going to have to suffer through four years of Donald J. Trump, because he has no ideology except the ideology of Donald J. Trump. And when you have a narcissist like that, who’s so narcissistic where it’s all about him, he will – maybe unintentionally – break laws. He will break laws because he’s only thinking about what’s best for him.
In May 2017 we began to ask questions about Trump’s competence and performance in 100 days of President Trump.
In June 2017 we were already asserting Trump becomes irrelevant.

All of the above may evoke readers to ask: “Why then do you seek to provide still more evidence about Trump’s mental state? Haven’t we seen enough already? In medicine, when we believe we’ve nailed the final diagnosis, we declare we’ve got ‘the clincher’, a fact, argument, or event that settles the matter conclusively.
I use ‘clincher’ here since Trump’s performance in recent weeks sounds like one to me. He has sought to give advice about the treatment of people suffering from COVID-19, which has been not only uninformed and stupid; it’s been downright dangerous. You’ve heard his suggestions, reported by SBS News
Medical authorities should look into whether injecting disinfectant into people’s lungs and exposing them to a “very powerful light” could cure coronavirus. These comments that came after Department of Homeland Security spokesman William Bryan, told the daily coronavirus briefing at the White House that early research was indicating the coronavirus dies faster in warm and humid weather than in cold and drier conditions. “Increasing the temperature and humidity … is generally less favourable to the virus,” he said. He also said common disinfectants and bleaches were also extremely effective in killing the virus. This evoked Trump to ask: “Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light … and supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re gonna test that,” Mr Trump said, gesturing towards Mr Bryan.
“And then I see disinfectant, where it knocks coronavirus out in a minute; is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning. It gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs.
“So, it’d be interesting to check that. So, that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds interesting to me.”
Since mid-March Mr Trump has advocated the use of chloroquine to treat COVID-19 infections, with scant evidence of its safety or effectiveness. Now medical experts are warning the dangers of this drug, which they fear might make matters worse. Earlier this week the head of the US agency in charge of developing a vaccine against coronavirus said he was removed from his job for questioning chloroquine.
Yet all this rhetoric has been offered by Trump in the face of 13.8 million more Americans losing their jobs, and an unprecedented 30 million seeking unemployment benefits during the last six weeks.
That’s not all: he has to contend with the fact that the US economy is shrinking at the fastest rate since 2008, as reported by the BBC.
The Commerce Department reported that consumer spending – which accounts for about two thirds of the US economy – dropped 7.6% in the first three months of the year. Spending on food services and accommodation plummeted more than 70%, while clothing and footwear purchases were down more than 40%. Health spending also plunged – despite the virus – as concerns about infection prompted doctors to postpone routine treatments and other medical care.
The economic pain in the US is expected to be even more severe in the April-June period, but economists say even the estimate for the first quarter is likely to be revised lower, as the government receives more data. “It’s very difficult to gauge the depth of the decline,” said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics: “The economy has just been flattened. We won’t really know the extent of the economic damage for years.”
To add to this lamentable picture, Trump is witnessing the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the US, with over 1.2 million confirmed cases and already almost 70,000 deaths, the highest rate in the world.

The world is undergoing crises including finance, pollution, sickness, oppression, climate and enough idiotic and desperate voters got into office an orange orifice, unwiped and putrid, a lying low life lout, to make the future rotten, Dreams.., forget it.
The fact Michael Moore failed to recognise is the utterly debauched nature of Mitch Mc Connell and the Republicans.
Will this be the end of Trump?
I seriously doubt it. There are enough crooked greedy politicians in the Republican Party to fight for their own live to keep him there and enough dull eyed dim witted voters who will refuse to even listen to criticism.
Sadly the deplorables will not be those who die from COVID19. The city dwellers and those professionals with jobs involving intellect will be the ones to suffer. The bumpkins will go on chewing their tobacco, drinking their cheap grog and in-breeding to populate the countryside with more of their own.
I hold very little hope for the USA and great concern for the attitude to China and nuclear weapons.
If the USA is gods country, I am mighty glad I am an atheist. You are correct Phillip, thousands of natives slaughtered, same here and all over the world from those from the land of hope and glory mother of the free. Rape of people and resources whilst under the cloak of their wonderful God and religion. And we still cling to a dysfunctional discordant family at the other side of the world as our ultimate head of state. Without Google can anybody actually name the governor generals of our states? And what is their function apart from opening fetes, if we still have such things. Goughs dismissal engineered by secretive forces in the US, right wing press and conducted by the pisspot Kerr, should have resulted in a revolution and action on an independent nation. And here we are in 2020, still prevaricating on whether we should break away from the ” mother country.” I am of an age I may not see it happen but trust that our kids and grandkids will stand up and be counted. Large swathes of our immigrants couldn’t point to the UK on a map and with their current Brexit woes and virus calamity, I doubt our own Brexit would be at the forefront of their mind. Come on people, once this crisis is over lets call Australia home.

New evidence has emerged this week that suggests Donald Trump may have been the result of a laboratory experiment devised to create the most ridiculous human being imaginable.
Intelligence officials have found documentation from a Chinese laboratory explaining how researchers took an ordinary human embryo and then removed all traces of empathy, intelligence, self-awareness and charm.
“It certainly explains a lot,” one intelligence insider said. “You look at this man who seems to lack any sense of humility or emotional intelligence, and you think there’s no way this thing can be natural. So the idea that he was artificially created does seem plausible”.

Trump is an All-American boy. All his characteristics are his nation’s characteristics. The USA is a malignant force; brutal, bullying, sadistic, spiteful, vindictive and untrustworthy. No treaty matters to the USA, from the nearly 800 they made with Native-Americans – all of them broken by the Americans, none by the ‘hostile savages’, through the agreements to exchange nuclear secrets with Britain and France, and on to the agreements with Iran. Any country that enters a treaty with the USA is begging for its resources to be stolen or raped and an irremovable US base in or about its vicinity as a ‘defence facility’.
‘Defence‘ is US-speak for ‘attack’.
Even this week, in the midst of its farcical response to Covid-19, the US tried to overthrow the government of Venezuela!

Trump may be carrying the virus, but he will not wear a mask, even at his daily press conferences. All the reporters are wearing masks now, but this will not really prevent them getting the virus from Trump, if he has it, only help prevent the spread if they are contagious. For their own safety, the reporters may boycott Trump’s press conferences altogether if he does not start wearing a mask. In either case this is going to generate political damage to him.
The virus might not attack Trump, like sharks don’t attack lawyers…it’s not a cannibal.
Alan Jones is only retiring from AM radio : he has been building a new career on Sky-after-Dark where he joins the Murdoch acolytes.
Whilst the Murdoch TV offering can only summon a viewing audience around 70,000 on a good night – Bolt, Murray etc – they seem to think that Alan will create a new audience for them. Only problem is, it’s pay TV and not many of Alan’s pensioners can afford the subscription.

There seems to be a strong consensus that Trump is dangerously mad, and becoming more so by the day. His every exposure, in all forms of media, verifies his insanity.
What is amazing to rational people is that such a human being actually exists, that he could become the POTUS, and that his supporters are likely to elect him again, that is provided he is mentally capable of contesting the November Presidential election.
He refuses to wear a face mask despite COVID-19 being present in the White House, as he feels that would make him ‘look weak’, as if being a ‘stable genius’ ought to be enough to keep the dreaded virus at bay!
If a novelist were to write Donald Trump’s story, those who had never heard of him would dismiss it as unbelievable, a fantasy of the author’s disturbed mind!
This is serious. Every commentary about Trump bespeaks his insanity. Has there ever been a POTUS more ridiculed? Now he’s targeting Obama as the cause of America’s woes.
This week’s Four Corners highlighted Trump’s dangerous behaviour, as do numerous commentaries emanating from the US, all of which Trump dismisses as ‘Fake News’.

Somone, somewhere – – many high profile bods in the self-proclaimed ” greatest nation etc.” should look to the 25th amendment in the Constitution, and read every word carefully, and then read it all again and again. If a President is ‘unfit’ for office ( and this one clearly is ) he CAN be replaced.
Why are they so terrified of using this tool ?
From a simplified version of the amendment the following :
” It allows the vice president, together with a “majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide,” to declare the president “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” in a written declaration. “
Trump is showing endlessly that he is very much ‘unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” …
Of course, the 25th amendment is far more amplified than that – and should be acted upon asap.
Let’s hope some sense prevails, perhaps for the first time in that countrys history ??
The man is an international laughing stock. There are not enough adjectives to describe his immaturity, his stupidity, his narcissism. He is mad. He is dangerous. Unfortunately, he’s the president.
Impeachment requires ‘high crimes and misdemeanours’

They’ve been itching to ditch us for decades.
Fortunately, Jack, the team in the SANFL has only been in existence since 1997. One of the conditions of Port being admitted into the AFL was that they still field a team in the SANFL, hence the Port Magpies were born.
