Israel’s true flaws

I’m the type of person who believes in humanity and humanism. The idea of fascism within today’s world disgusts me enough to try to do everything I can to change whatever I can.

Today, I saw an ‘explanation’ of a video. The propaganda related to the video scared me. One of the comments in relation to the video quoted Friedrich Nietzsche: “Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster … for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”

The video was produced in order to try to stop the Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment (BDS) movement of Europe against Israel. In trying to fight against what it perceives as its many “enemies”, Israel appears to have become the monster it was trying to deflect.

Other comments showed how ISIS had never actually come anywhere near to bombing Israel. Their comments illuminated that Israel could possibly be funding ISIS, which is why all of Israel’s enemies have been bombed, but not Israel itself. While aspects of this appear true, it doesn’t appear wise to comment further. There are far too many photos and videos showing the true destruction of the city of Gaza, in any case.

Israel have been trying to put a positive perspective on what they have done with videos such as this, and they have come down very hard on those that are trying to investigate the truth. They have denigrated the International Criminal Court for making Palestine a preliminary investigation. There is also another preliminary investigation, into the Registered Vessels of Comoros, Greece and Cambodia that also relates to Israel. With this situation, Israel allegedly raided a humanitarian aid ship bound for Gaza. For this, I think there are aspects of truth to the bullying nature of Israel.

They have become the monster that they fled from, shortly after the Holocaust. They are showing all of the signs of fascism, which is unfortunate as I would have wanted to have seen Israel flourish alongside Palestine, rather than completely destroying Palestine with no reasonable explanation.
